Olive Kitteridge
Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout is a bestseller! It won the Pulitzer Prize! Oprah loved it! Great!
Personally, I did not care for this much hyped collection of short stories. All the stories involve the title character, centrally or peripherally. Olive is a middle school teacher in a smallĀ town in Maine. None of the stories are that interesting, and the book itself is very depressing. It was a struggle to finish, so I won’t write any more about it.
